Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFT)

Completed a 4-day intensive training. This training is officially sanctioned by the International Centre for Excellence in Emotionally Focused Therapy (ICEEFT). EFT is a short-term structured psychotherapy approach to working with individuals, couples and families. This style is established in attachment theory although it has elements of experiential, person-centered, constructivist, and systems theory.

Gottman Method Couples Therapy: Level I

Completed an 11-hour program from The Gottman Institute. Gottman Method Couples Therapy is a research based relationship skills approach that is designed to noticeably improve the intimacy and friendship in your relationship and help couples resolve conflict in a more productive way. Foster respect, affection, and closeness.

Gottman Method Couples Therapy: Level II

Completed a 21-hour program from The Gottman Institute. Level II expanded on the key concepts in Level I including helping couples build and share a deeper connection, keeping conflict discussions calm, and breaking through the gridlock that conflicted couples experience.
