There is a major difference between Life Coaching and Therapy.  Understanding that difference will help you decide if Life Coaching is right for you.

The definition of Life Coaching varies with each coach you ask.  Yet most develop the same strength-based, collaborative, future focused message.

Life coaching is different than therapy because coaching begins by looking at the future and helps you figure out how you would like your future to look.  The client and the coach then collaboratively create a plan to get to that future.  A Life Coach is available for extended support along the way, but it is a temporary relationship designed to drive you towards a future goal or life change.

In contrast, licensed therapists/counselors are trained to work with individuals who would like help managing their mental illness.  Much of the session with a therapist is spent discussing your family history. Life coaching is forward focused and does not spend much time looking into your family history.

Life coaches are predominantly interested in where you want to go, not where you have been.  Are you ready to get going on your future?  Then sign up for your complimentary Discovery Session today.
